Mr. Rocky Mountain Olympus Leather 2012

As Mr. Rocky Mountain Olympus Leather 2012 Ras traveled to many Leather and BDSM events to promote the Leather Lifestyle, the principles of SSC, and to strengthen the wider Leather community. As a pansexual Leatherman, Ras worked through his title year to build and strengthen the bonds between all segments of the Leather, Kink, and Fetish communities. Ras is the current 1st Runner up Mr. International Olympus Leather.

As a BDSM educator, Ras’s message is that the difference between a good scene and a great scene is not found in the technical application of tools and toys, but in the mental and physiological expression of the player’s intentions. Focusing on the “why” of play, rather than just the “how” creates truly transformative experiences. This is a message Ras has shared in Salt Lake for The Path, and TNG, as well as the Boise BDSM Society, Foundations in San Francisco, the Center for Sex Positive Culture in Seattle, Scales in Denver, DomCon LA, and the Indiana Masters and Slaves group.

As a Leather/BDSM/Fetish Lifestyle player, Ras focuses on primal, sensual, sexual, carnal, down and dirty, and raunchy play. Finding the sex in Leathersex and exploring Sex Magic in SM is too often overlooked in the clinical and antiseptic environment of “how to.”

Ras was the leader of Salt Lake City’s TNG group for three years, and was involved in planning munches, classes, and workshops designed to  help new people find their way into the local community.  They focus on teaching the basics of Safe, Sane, and Consensual play, with an emphasis on negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Ras is a graduate of LeatherQuest Salt Lake City, a rigorous two year long education experience focused on BDSM skills, Leather history and traditions, and personal growth, while honoring the tradition of earned leather, community service, BDSM education, and spirituality.

Ras has taught classes and workshops in Salt Lake for The Path, The Wasatch Academy, and TNG, as well as the Boise BDSM Society, Foundations in San Francisco, Scales in Denver, the Center For Sex Positive Culture in Seattle, DomCon LA, and for the Indiana Masters and Slaves Beat My Valentine convention.
