Jayson DaBoi

Sin in the City 2015 Bootblack Coordinator

Sin in the City 2014 Bootblack Coordinator and SouthWest Olympus Leather Contestant Coordinator

Spastic puppy, native New Mexican, and high energy bootblack Jayson DaBoi holds the title of International Ms Bootblack 2010. Jayson has officially lived the leather lifestyle since 2005, but he’s always had a pumping leather heart. At a young age, Jayson’s father taught him how to shine his shoes; he was hooked at first polish. Jayson continued those traditions into the military and now shares them with his community. Boots create the spiritual foundation of the Leather Walk, Jayson believes, and he wants to ensure that everyone has access to a solid, beautiful, and polished foundation. He enjoys sharing his love of leather care and traditions with all willing to learn. When not working his day job, Jayson can often be found blacking boots in a cigar bar or his living room, or out in the community fundraising for those in need. His current hours are full of supporting local, regional, and (as time/funds permit) national events, teaching up and coming bootblacks, and, most importantly, Jayson says, “Enjoying life no matter what”
